Existing documents in your Laserfiche Repository can be reprocessed with PhotoDocs. This is useful if you have documents with characteristics PhotoDocs is designed to address, such as curved book pages or images at an angle, that were originally captured through methods other than PhotoDocs. It can also be used if you have PhotoDocs configured to process and store documents automatically: you can review and modify them at a later time with reprocessing mode.
Note: Automation settings do not apply in reprocessing mode.
When you open PhotoDocs in reprocessing mode, the documents that you selected in the Laserfiche Client will be immediately displayed in the Workspace. You will notice that the Source Pane is not available, since in this mode you are reprocessing documents rather than loading new images or creating new documents. You will be able to clean up and process the documents, and review their metadata (the Document Properties Pane is read-only in this mode; you can modify the metadata in the Laserfiche Client).
Note: Only image pages will be loaded into PhotoDocs reprocessing mode. Text-only pages or electronic documents will be hidden.
